The Business Excellence Awards, sponsored by Vhi Healthcare, are awarded on a quarterly basis. The Awards are presented to deserving recipients in up to four categories each quarter: Retail, Manufacturing, Services, and Hospitality/Tourism. The programme recognises excellence in service, outstanding business performance, and/or noteworthy achievements.

THE ECC recently received a Business Excellence Award for our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. The quarterly award was presented to Lorraine McGavock by the local Waterford Chamber of Commerce. In opening the event Deputy President Andrew O’Neill (Chamber of Commerce) acknowledged and congratulated the ECC for their hard work and the pride, which they take in their business. "It is fantastic to see this commitment to quality in Waterford industry and long may it continue".

During the presentation ceremony Lorraine highlighted Reflexite’s dedication to world-class industry standards, safety on our roads through our products and the resulting fast expansion of the company. This high level of manufacturing standards can only be achieved due to the hard work and efficiency of our employee owners.

The Chamber congratulated the ECC on the well-deserved achievement, which acknowledges our on-going commitment and dedication to delivering both customer and business excellence.
