Vehicle Livery:
Flexibility and durability as well as visibility are vitally important when it comes to choosing the best vehicle livery film. Utilising a reflective film that is easy to cut and fit to the vehicle is important in terms of manpower and vehicle downtime. When using Reflexite’s livery film the downtime of vehicles and manpower is dramatically reduced through the ease of application and the ability to cut Reflexite material via inexpensive equipment, plus there is no need to edge seal. Reflexite’s material also has the capability to fit around curvatures and contours due to its flexible and conformable character particularly in comparison to some other livery films on the marketplace that are very brittle.

The benefits of Reflexite’s micro-prismatic film for use on vehicles used in hazardous environments have long been the norm, since bodies such as the Police Scientific Development Branch and the Traffic Management Contractors Association, recommended the use of Class 1 micro-prismatic tapes to increase the safety of vehicles working in hazardous conditions.

PPE:
Reflexite garment tapes provide the brightest and safest performance in all types of weather including low light and rain and are the brightest materials available for long and medium distances for visibility tape allowing the car driver to make changes in its driving habit to avoid hitting the person. All compliant Reflexite garment tapes exceed the highest reflectivity performance of EN471:2003 table 5, level 2. Reflexite garment tapes are brighter at long distance and more resistant to abrasion, they are colour reflective and are offered as standard and bespoke and have a unique colour match guarantee for tape and badges. These tapes reflect much brighter in wet weather conditions than glass bead.

   


Traffic Control:
Brightly visible traffic control devices are crucial to preventing accidents at nighttime and in adverse weather conditions. Reflexite retro-reflective materials for emergency service mobile signs and construction work zones are used in more than twenty countries throughout the world. Tough, durable but lightweight signs resist abrasion damage and protect injuries whilst workers are moving the signs from vehicle to incidents. Reflexite materials, which reflect the same colour both day and night, perform equally well wet and dry.

 


Other applications:
There are many applications that use Reflexite material such as the chemical industry where the film is used on hazardous material containers for ease of identification and visibility.
